Nanopublications is a scheme for capturing the smallest unit of publishable (scientific information). A RDF Vocabulary is defined that is able to encode following:
- The claim that the publication make (e.g. this gene is involved with that dissease)
- Metadata and context of how the assertion was made
- publication information
- metadata about the nanopublication itself
They use named graphs.
For immutable and verifiable identifiers they use Trusty URI.
